How to Install macOS Sierra Final on VMware on Windows

Apple has announced the mac OS Sierra as the next version of Mac system software. From Siri integration, a revamped Apple music application and much more, macOS 10.12 Sierra Final, coming this fall, brings a whole bunch of amazing features. Apple announced this next version of Mac as is a tradition in the WWDC. With the Sierra, Siri will make its debut on a Mac and has new capabilities that have been designed for the desktop. This is the only way to make the Mac smarter, and you get a hands-free access to your machine. Sierra will also help you shop more securely from online stores and with the new file system, you can now get and free up valuable space.

The VMware player, a virtualisation software for the x64 based computer that uses Windows. You can run macOS Sierra Final on VMware on Windows. This player uses the same virtualization core like the VMware workstation, even though the workstation is not free and has more features than the Player. VMware Player is available for non-commercial use and can be seen as free.

Steps to Install macOS Sierra on VMware on Windows

Step 1: Download Image and Extract file with Winrar or 7zip

Download winrar then install it. Right click on macOS 10.12 Sierra.rar, Select “Extract Here”

Step 2: Patch the VMware

Open Patch Tool folder then right click on win-install.cmd file, Select “Run as Administrator”

Step 3: Create New Virtual Machine

Open VMware Player or Workstation then select “Create new virtual mahine”,
Guest OS: Apple Mac OS X
Version: Mac OS X 10.11 or 10.12

Name and New Virtual Machine Disk:

8 Virtua Machine Name 2

Step 4: Edit Your Virtual Machine

Click “Edit Virtual Machine Setting”, select “Hard Disk (SATA) 40 GB” then click “Remove

Click Add – Hard Disk – SATA, Click “Use an Existing Virtual Disk”

Browse to download Image location C:\..\macOS Sierra.vmdk file then click Open

You can set up Ram with 2.56 to 4 GB and your processor is 2 to 4 core:

Step 5: Edit VMX File

Open Your Virtual Machine Folder “C:\Users\your user\Documents\Virtual Machines”. Right click on VMX file then select Open with “Notepad”.

Copy then Paste this code: smc.version = "0"

Step 6: Play Your macOS Sierra and Install VMware Tool

Mount VM Tool.iso to VMware Player. Click Player – Removable Devices – CD/DVD – Setting…

VMWorkstation Pro 12/VMWare Player 12: Shared Folders from host machine don’t appear to be recognised in the VM, and cut and paste (i.e. functionality provided by VMTools) also isn;t recognised – tried both the VMTools in the link above and the one that ships with VMWare – no luck.
Anyone else found this issue?

After edit w/Notepad macOS 10.12 Sierra.vmx file and try to run the VM, here is the error given

“Error while opening the virtual machine: VMX file is corrupt.” 🙁

Cannot connect the virtual device sata0:1 because no corresponding device is available on the host.
I get this error and the system would not boot

I wonder if there is any way to get my webcam connected to the virtual machine for use in FaceTime? I got Zbook15 notebook,but it does not let me connect the camera as a USB device.
