Step 4: Edit Your Virtual Machine

Click “Edit Virtual Machine Setting” Select Harddisk (Sata) Click Remove:

Click Add – Hard Disk – SATA, Click “Use an Existing Virtual Disk”, Browse to your Image location D:\..\OS X El Capitan..vmdk file then click Open

Hi, I downloaded both the torrent and 7 part files, followed instructions and used winrar to “extract here”, after extracting i only get three files; OS X 10.11 El Capitan Retail.vmdk, Tutorials by Techrview.txt and html, how do i proceed from there?. Hello, After starting the machine, it takes a while, the Apple logo appears and is in the loop between VMware Workstation 12 Player. It shows this message: “A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state. If this fault had occurred outside of a virtual machine, it would have caused the physical machine to restart. Hi, I have used Mac on virtual box for about 3 to 4 month and i have lots of data in that machine. So i have used disk of virtual box to create new vm on vmware player 12. So now i am not able to set resolution to 1920×1080, I have tried installing vmware tools three times but no luck. It only show 1024×768 option. hi, i have successfully done everything but the problem is it is lagging too much, is there anything i can do prevent such lags.

Same here i have Lenovo i3 4gb RAM (I just upgraded got 12gb ram) so i increased the ELCaptain RAM to 6gb …IT doesnt make any difference ..it still lags even on 6gb RAM..its probably because of the number of core processor.. Only Solution was to use OS X Yosemite and Use beam off…now ITS SMOOTH like mac… 🙂
