Worked like a charm! For anyone else who is having issues here are my relevant specs:
Laptop: MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro
Processor: i7 6700
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise
Using: VMWare Workstation Pro

Followed the instructions exactly (other than using my own VMWare). No problems. Thanks so much!!!!

When I start El Capitan in VMWare, it says boot unsuccessful and then goes to the Boot Manager. At the bottom on VMWare it says OS X 10.11 is not installed on this virtual machine.

I get this message while starting it !!! Mac OS X is not supported with binary translation. To run Mac OS X you need a host on which VMware Workstation supports Intel VT-x or AMD-V.

Hi, I am trying to install OS X 10.11 on VMware but it always crashes on apple logo. Gives error “Panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff801199ea74): launchd exited (signal 4, exit status 0 )
Debugger called (panic)”

Mac OS version: Not yet set, etc.

I’ve already set the guest OS to Apple Mac OS X and version OS X 10.11

My Processor is:

Thanks.
