When I start the vm it goes to a page says UEFI Ineractive Shell v2.1 EDK II, can you please tell me what went wrong?

I solved the “Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport !” error by shutting down Virtual Box and then running the step 5 commands again with one small change. In the first command, I changed the following:

VBoxManage.exe modifyvm “Your VM Name” …

to

VBoxManage modifyvm “Your VM Name” …

I hope that helps

I only see two options when I select Mac OS X when creating a new virtual machine, and both of them are no where near El Capitan. How do I get extra options? I am running the currently latest version which I think is 5.1.4

You need to enable Virtualization VT-X BIOS. Then you will able to see all the options

I followed until step 5, but I got black screen with lots of texts i don’t know what that is when I starting up the machine..
some view “Debugger called: ” some said “Mac OS version: Not yet set”…
What might be the problem? Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the tutorial it all works! However, it comes up really small even after scaling to 200% and it makes it difficult to use. Any fixes or suggestions?

Mine froze after “Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!” and had a few errors before that. My problem turned out to be virtualization. I had enabled it on in my BIOS, but when I updated my bios it was not a version compatible with virtualization. So I THOUGHT virtualization was enabled since I had enabled it before, but it was not. I updated my bios to a version that included virtualization, and the OS loaded absolutely fine.

I got a blank screen. Is it because I am running VirtualBox 5.1.10 for Windows?

Got everything set up okay, but unable to sign into App Store. Anyone know why this may be?

WinRAR says it has a trial, but just close the window or click ok when the trial window pops up.

Hi. When I try to do Step 5, at VBoxManage setextradata “Your VM name”, I get “Syntax error: not enough parameters”.
Here’s the log. I have tried both for VirtualBox 4.x.x and 5.x.x (although I have 5).

I”ve followed the directions you’ve listed, but only get a black screen when I run Virtual box. I’ve tried creating the machine several times.
