WavePad Audio Editor 4+

What is going on?

I have used this app for years to edit my music, and have loved it. I recently had to re-purchase this app for $99, due to an update. Since then I have had nothing but problems using this program. I do not know what is going on, but please fix your program so that it works properly for your users. I am unable to complete any of my work as the program keeps freezing every time I try to make an edit. I also have to keep restoring my purchase as it is saying I have to purchase the program to complete certain tasks. What is going on?

Great editing app, wish they had a personal version

I had some poor-quality recordings of some family members that I needed to clean up, and this app worked great! The feature where you can sample a snippet of audio and make a filter out of it is amazing -- my recordings had a lot of background noise, so I sampled the background noise and filtered that from the rest of the recording, and voices that were barely audible before are now incredibly clear.

I would absolutely pay for this feature, but the full app is way more powerful (and way too expensive) for my needs. Which is too bad.

Refreshingly simple and capable

It seems so rare to find an app that strikes just the right balance between offering the capability you need, but also being easy to use right off the bat. I wanted something simple for trimming and amplifying recordings of bird calls, something which can be surprisingly irritating to figure out in some complex audio editors, but in WavePad it was simple and intuitive. The automatic suggestions were helpful, even when not exactly what I wanted, in introducing relevant features. Very impressed.
